Ultimate Reset Recipes – Garlic Veggies

Ultimate Reset Recipes – Garlic Veggies – it is one my favorite recipes on this detox plan. It may be mostly veggies but it is SO filling. Get the recipe below!

 

(Makes 1 Serving)

 

2 tsp. extra-virgin olive oil

2 cloves garlic, crushed

1 medium carrot, cut into thin pieces

½ medium head broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 tbsp. water

½ medium zucchini

¼ medium red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch strips (I left this out and substituted in string beans)

2 oz. Organic Soy Tempeh (cut into bite-sized chunks)

2 tbsp. lemon juice

1.5 tsp. Bragg Liquid Aminos (optional- a healthy soy sauce alternative)

 

Heat your oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic; cook, stirring frequently, for 30 seconds. Add carrot and broccoli; cook, stirring frequently, for 1 minute. Add Tempeh. Add water. Cover; cook for 1 minute. Remove cover. Add zucchini and bell-pepper (green beans for me); cook, stirring frequently, for 2 to 3 minutes or until tender-crisp. Flip Tempeh and make sure it has browned on both sides. Remove from heat. Add lemon juice and Bragg Liquid Aminos (if desired); mix well!
