5 Strategies for your best year yet


New year, new goals, new you… Right? Those first few months are so exciting while you’re overflowing with all that motivation and fire in your belly, aren’t they? Maybe you even make it half way through the year before that flame starts to die out and the new wears off and you’re back to your old habits… thinking those goals were never really important to you anyway.. and then by the end of the year, you’re no further along than when you started. That is such a bummer!

I am constantly seeking new ways to add value to the people on my path and help you succeed, and, heck, even keep up the momentum myself! So, I’ve compiled a few ways to inspire you to dig deeper this year and let this be the turning point you never look back from!

1. Set intentions.

It’s so important to change the way we think about “goal setting.” Someone once asked me, “What would you run into a burning building for?” This is so powerful, because it puts your heart behind whatever it is you’re doing, and it helps you take steps that are in line with your vision. Consider it lifestyle changes… Things you can intentionally do to get you closer to the life you dream of.

2. Tell someone.

There is life and death in the power of the tongue. You can literally speak things into existence! So breathe life into the things you truly desire, and tell someone who cares enough about you to actually hold you accountable. Accountability is everything!

3. Get surrounded.

You’ve probably heard before that you become the average of the 5 people you spend most of your time with. It is so true that energy is contagious! So get surrounded by people who are doing big things and living the life you envision for yourself, and learn from them.

4. Evaluate yourself monthly.

At the beginning of each month, reflect on what worked and what didn’t work in the previous month, and take action to improve on those things in the month to come. Treat these desires of your heart like they actually MATTER and give them the attention they deserve. Your happiness is so worth it.


Make a decision right now that, when you look back this time next year, you will not be standing in the same spot. Level up to your expectations of yourself and actively choose not to let yourself down, every single day.


Consider this: If you can’t even keep your word to yourself, how can anyone else in your life truly count on you? This is essential…. You already have everything you need to live the life you’ve always wanted inside you… You just have to decide to do it.
