3 Day Refresh Results and Meal Plan

Hello my friends! I am so excited to share with you about my 3 Day Refresh results and meal plan from earlier this week!

Let me start by explaining a bit about what the 3 Day Refresh even is AND what it is not, because I get a lot of questions asked about it!

The 3 Day Refresh is NOT a juice cleanse or anything like that. It is a gentle cleanse, meaning it is not harsh on your body. One of the biggest concerns people come to me with is that they bet they will be in the restroom all day long {you know what I mean}, but that is not the case. There are no harsh supplements or colon cleansers or anything weird like that. The plan consists of three daily shakes, a fiber drink, LOTS OF WATER, and a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats.

A day on the plan looks like this {my exact meal plan below}:

1. Wake Up – drink 8-12 ounces of filtered water {I added apple cider vinegar and organic lemon juice}
2. Breakfast – Shakeology plus fruit option {I chose Chocolate Vegan Shakeology blended with blueberries}
3. Mid-Morning – Fiber Sweep drink {Now I am not going to lie, this does not taste amazing, but it is to promote digestive health – so just CHUG}
4. Lunch – Vanilla Fresh shake plus options from the fruit, vegetable, and healthy fats list {I chose chunked pineapple, baby carrots, and hummus and it was AMAZING}
5. Afternoon Snack – Options from the vegetable, healthy fats, or juice options list {I chose baby carrots and hummus again because it is SO GOOD}
6. Dinner – Vanilla Fresh shake plus a delicious recipe from the dinner recipes list included with the plan {I like things SO SIMPLE – so I chose steamed kale with lemon juice and pine nuts}

Also, during the day I consumed a gallon of water and herbal and green teas.

Being totally honest with you, day one is hard. You’re probably going from eating way too much CRAP, to eating smaller and healthier portions, AND eliminating coffee. Yeah, I wasn’t feeling it. But you know what? I’ve ALWAYS quit this program in the past when I did it. This was like my third or fourth attempt. This time I stuck with it 100%. What was the difference? This time I had an accountability partner named Laura. It was amazing for the both of us! We texted one another all day long sharing silly selfies drinking that awful Fiber Sweep and talking about how our husbands were in the kitchen cooking chicken and pizza, while we were eating vegetables. The struggle was real! But I think we are BOTH so excited that we stuck to it this time.

It is recommended when you complete the program to continue drinking Shakeology and following a healthy diet. I’ve been drinking Shakeology for over three years, and currently I am following the 21 Day Fix Extreme, so we got that covered.

Now, you’ve been waiting for PICTURES! Since I just had a baby 18 weeks ago, I absolutely still have the mommy pouch, or whatever that awful thing is called.
