Good afternoon, friend!!
I posted on my Facebook page the other day asking for some of your favorite homemade kale chips recipes, because I bought some bunches at the store. I have tried store-bought kale chips before, but they are typically gross and expensive. I quickly threw together three different recipes that sounded yummy and gave them a try! I wanted to share those with you and tell you how they tasted!
**For all recipes, you will need one “bunch” of raw kale, washed and DRIED, pulled from the stem into large, bite-sized pieces. Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and cook for 30 minutes on a baking sheet. Cleanup is easiest if you line your baking sheet with wax paper first.**
Original
Toss your kale in 2 tsp olive oil and spread in a single layer onto baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt. My favorite salt is pink himalayan sea salt! It is full of healthy minerals that other salts lack.
Salt & Vinegar
Toss your kale in 2 tsp olive oil and 2 tsp apple cider vinegar. Spread in a single layer onto a baking sheet and sprinkle with salt. **These were my favorite!!!**
Chili & Lime
Toss your kale in 2 tsp olive oil and juice from one fresh lime. Spread kale in a single layer onto your baking sheet and sprinkle with chili powder.
So, that’s it! I LOVED the first two; they were absolutely delicious! The chili & lime chips turned out too hot for my taste, but you might love them so give them a try! I would be lying if I told you I didn’t eat them all at once…. 😉
<3 Do you have a favorite homemade kale chips recipe to share? I'd love to add it!!!
