Cinnamon Dusted Apples with Almond Yogurt Recipe * Dairy Free and Gluten Free Recipe *
I made this for my day 1 PiYo breakfast and it was so yummy!!! I definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for a yummy dairy free and gluten free recipe. This would make a delish dessert as well!!
Makes 1 serving.
2 small Apples; any kind
1.5 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons ground walnuts or almonds
ground cinnamon to taste
.5 cup almond yogurt (plain)
nonstick cooking spray
1. Cut each apple into eighths, discarding the core.
2. Coat a pan with nonstick cooking spray and saute the apples in water until soft yet still crisp.
3. Top with cinnamon, nuts and serve with 1/2 cup of almond yogurt.
