3 Day Refresh Results and Review

I just completed the 3 Day Refresh yesterday, and while I can’t say I was 100% perfect, I am excited to share my personal 3 Day Refresh results and review with you!

What is the 3 Day Refresh?

The 3 Day Refresh is a 3 day program designed to be simple to follow and help you drop a few pounds in a hurry or break some bad habits. The 3 Day Refresh consists of three daily shakes, a fiber drink, lots of filtered water, and a wide variety of fruits, vegetables and healthy fats throughout the day.

What does an example day look like on the 3 Day Refresh?

1. Wake Up – drink 8-12 ounces of filtered water
2. Breakfast – Shakeology plus fruit option
3. Mid-Morning – Fiber Sweep
4. Lunch – Vanilla Fresh (high-protein, hunger satisfying shake) plus options from the fruit, vegetable and healthy fats lists
5. Afternoon Snack – options from the fruit, vegetable, or juice options lists
6. Dinner – Vanilla Fresh plus a dinner option

My 3 Day Refresh Results and Review

The first two days of my 3 Day Refresh were the easiest; I did battle a headache, though nothing severe, as a typical detox symptom. I didn’t feel like I was starving or anything; I did honestly feel satisfied, but I was having some cravings here and there for carbs. I sometimes am a mindless, emotional eater, so these habits really show themselves when I am following a structured plan like this. Day 3 was more difficult, as I was really letting my cravings get the best of me. I survived, but was not perfect. The morning after day 3, I woke up and stepped on the scale. I became slightly disappointed at first when I saw no change on the scale. However, I reminded myself that a detox like this is to DETOX, not to lose weight. Losing weight is just sometimes a natural side-effect of a detox. However, it really depends on how you are eating to begin with and how much weight you have to lose. At this point in my journey, I am lifting heavy at the gym following the Body Beast plan. Lifting heavy causes muscles to retain water as they are healing, and I did not put my workouts on pause during my 3 Day Refresh. I DID lose 2 inches off of my waist! That is a win!!
